We’ve been working in the pet care sector for the past two years. After visiting 300+ pet clinics and collaborating with several across the country, we’re building Pemilyy - a comprehensive pet care ecosystem with clinics at the center, seamlessly connecting vets, pets, and pet parents.

Ankit and I founded DogNation in 2020 (middle of COVID) after our horrible experience with basic services like doggy boarding and daycare services in India for our first fur baby and inspiration, Zahra.
We are actively raising funds and building a Dog parenting ecosystem (The DoggyVerse!) with an urban network of Doggy daycare, wellness & recreation centers accessed by one subscription on our App (think Cult.fit for Dogs!) to become a one-stop destination for dogs in the heart of the City…From boarding, day care, training and grooming to a well-maintained Doggy swimming pool! Our Canine-crazy and professionally trained ‘PawPals’ maintain the highest safety standards while providing individualized care for your furry friends at India’s first ‘Leash-free, enrichment focused’ wellness and recreation club for Dogs!
While we did apply to Rainmatter under the wellness and health category we got rejected because we are building for pets and not humans. We hope canine wellness and enrichment also becomes a core focus for your team at Rainmatter, Dilip.
A lot of money has been poured into building pet product brands (or e-commerce) but utilitarian services (Boarding, Daycare, Swimming, Training etc.) needed by all urban dog parents at some point in their parenting journey still doesn’t have a pan-India brand like ‘Dogtopia’ or ‘Camp Bow Bow’ in developed pet markets like USA & Canada. Let’s make dog parenting easy for India and give our pups their best life, not just shinny collars & leashes!

Lakhs of dogs in India lose mobility every year due to accidents or disease. Most lives are abandoned, euthanized, and the remaining few live without dignity because suitable devices are unaffordable or unavailable. I am building state-of-the-art wheelchairs that restore dignity and movement to paraplegic and senior dogs in India.
This is my first venture and one that I’m deeply passionate about. I am looking for mentorship, collaborators, pilot partners, and guidance on grants or philanthropic support for humane technology with scalable social impact. I had an idea on increasing demand on the dog boarding side and wanted to know if you tried it to increase occupancy. Already heard about your service and happy to send my pet Zoe to you for a week next month. Can we connect sometime? Share your email id, ill ping.
