Hi,
New to this community. Following all the recent aqi discourse and the need to address/resolve it; there are complex materials called as metal organic frameworks that are essentially selective adsorbents of air pollutants.
New/recent research advancements in UC berkeley have led to the synthesis of such material that can adsorb CO2 to a massive extent. Please see the reference link
A lot of research will be needed initially but once synthesis is streamlined, only a few mg of this material can potentially work wonders.
Willing to discuss more if there are passionate folks interested.
Thanks.
