Hello community, I’m Srinivas, CEO @RedGreenBlue, we build remote access technologies for medical imaging equipment. We built a multimedia streaming device that could be plugged into any imaging equipment like MRI/CT, ultrasound, all kinds of scopes etc… thereafter the equipment could be accessed over the internet. The remote user could control the keyboard and mouse of the equipment remotely. The device is vendor agnostic i.e You could plug it into any vendor provided imaging equipment.
We built a bunch of applications for different workflows like MRI/CT reporting, ultrasound control, OT(operation theatre) camera streaming, cath lab annotative collaboration, etc …
What use is such a device ?
Ans:
- It enables remote scanning. You do not need an expert on premise always! We are experimenting with one such service wherein we provide remote specialist radiographer service while the diagnostic centre may hire a junior.
- Remote ultrasound is possible for cardiac echo. I specifically say echo because PCPNDT regulation comes in the way for other use cases. We have not been able to find traction for this case because of fear of the said regulation. Ultrasound is such a basic need cause every heart issue is referred to a echo. But ultrasound is not easily available or the cardiologist expert is not available. Our device connects an expert remotely!
- Operation theatre camera streaming for expert collaboration or learning.
- Remote maintenance of the equipment
I would like to discuss any feedback you might have with the concepts i’m proposing above.
Thanks
Srinivas
