Hi everyone,
I’m Ayush, founder at Tradeverse
I’m working on a product in the trading space that focuses on improving how traders make decisions over time rather than helping them execute trades or chase outcomes. The idea is to support traders on a daily basis by helping them reflect on their trades, understand risk better, and gradually improve their behavior and discipline in the markets.
To do this properly, the product needs access to a trader’s actual trade activity, with clear user consent. Having this data makes it possible to give contextual, trade-by-trade guidance similar to how a mentor would review and guide a trader’s decisions over time. From a trust and safety perspective, integrating directly with established brokers seems like the most reliable way to achieve this.
The challenge we’re running into is around data access continuity. With current broker API setups, such as daily re-authentication requirements, maintaining a smooth and low-friction experience for users becomes difficult. This makes it harder to build long-term, behavior-focused tools that depend on consistent trade data rather than one-off snapshots.
This product is not intended to be a trading or execution platform. It’s meant to sit alongside existing broker infrastructure as a supportive layer that encourages disciplined participation and better risk awareness.
I’m sharing this here to understand how others in the ecosystem think about this problem, whether similar challenges have come up while building non-execution tools, and if there are better ways to approach long-term, consent-based access to trade data.
Would appreciate any perspectives or experiences from people who’ve built or supported products in this space.
