Hello Team Zerodha & Community,
I recently explored the new Kite Workspace updates, and I really appreciate the direction toward improving trader engagement and experience. Features like lightweight interactive elements show a strong focus on user behavior, not just execution.
I wanted to share something I’ve been building that could potentially add value to the Kite ecosystem.
I’m the creator of OrderNPlay (https://ordernplay.com) — a browser-based trading simulator designed specifically to help traders improve discipline, patience, and decision-making while they wait for real setups in the market.
Unlike casual games, OrderNPlay is based on trading psychology principles:
• Simulates decision pressure similar to live markets
• Encourages patience and rule-based execution
• Helps reduce impulsive trades caused by boredom
• Provides engagement without financial risk
• Lightweight and easily embeddable into workspace panels
Why this could be useful inside Kite Workspace
One common behavior among traders is over-trading during idle time while watching charts. A tool like this can convert that idle time into skill-building time, which may indirectly improve trader outcomes and platform engagement.
Potential benefits for Zerodha:
• Increased user session duration
• Better trader behavior and retention
• Unique differentiator vs other brokers
• Behavioral learning layer inside trading platform
I would love to explore whether something like this could be integrated as an optional workspace widget or experimental feature.
If the team finds this interesting, I’d be happy to share a demo or discuss possible collaboration.
Thanks for building such a thoughtful platform for traders.
