I’m surprised even today after so much advancements in technology, meal logging is still a painful task. I do it four out of seven days. and repent everytime i use an app.
First the existing database is not accurate.
Second for Indian palate, calories varies a lot of preparation style.
This should be fixed. This shouldn’t be complicated.
Yknow. ChatGPT 4O is surprisingly good at taking a picture of Indian foods and giving a fairly reasonable macro and micro nutrient breakdown of the food in the picture. It helps to have something to in the posture for scale… like a scale but it’s not necessary. Try it out!
